VISHWA Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Praveen Togadia has said that a joint parliamentary session of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha should be organised to pass a legislation for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
“After a long period, a Hindu Government is ruling the country,” Togadia told the media, while advising the ruling regime at the Centre to hold a joint session of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to pass a legislation, paving the way for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Togadia expressed his deep trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, suggesting him to act like another Gujarati Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, in building a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. He also recalled that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive had also agreed on a proposal to construct Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Togadia was in Bhopal to participate in various programmes organised by the VHP and Bajrang Dal to mark “Shaurya Diwas” on Sunday. He also addressed a public gathering at Chhola Dussehra Maidan on Sunday evening.
