Missing college girl foundin Satna

A 17-and-a-half-year-old girl, first year student of Benazir College, whose missing person complaint was lodged by her elder sister at Jehangirabad police station on Wednesday was found in Satna today. The girl student hails from Satna district where she went in train without informing her elder sister. SHO Jehangirabad Preetam Singh Thakur said that Priyanka (17.5), daughter of Prem Diwedi hails from Satna district and currently she resides here in a rented house at Aheer Mohalla along with her elder sister Pragya. Complainant Pragya Dwivedi in her written complaint with police said that her younger sister is pursuing graduation from Benazir College. On Wednesday at around 1:30 pm, Priyanka went to attend classes at college. When she didn’t reached house on usual time till 3pm, worried Pragya then called her younger sister but her mobile phone was switched off. Later she inquired about Priyanka from her sister’s friends but they expressed their ignorance about her. Later, in the night Pragya reported the matter to police after which a case under Section 363 of the IPC has been registered by the police. Meanwhile, on Thursday morning Pragya received call from her sister Priyanka that she had reached house in Satna.
She clarified that after college she directly went to railway station from where she reached Satna in train and battery of her phone was discharged and got switched off therefore she couldn’t informed her.
