Man gets life imprisonment for murder

ADDITIONAL Sessions Judge T S Akali on Friday sentenced Pappu alias Chandikaprasad Mohandatta Gaur to life imprisonment for killing a young man over an old enmity. A resident of Type II Quarter No. 2/239, CPWD Colony, Gaur (35) had killed Raman Duryadhan Mohade (25), a resident of Borgaon Road, near Chaube Katiya Bhandar, with a tile on July 14, 2013. Following a complaint lodged by Ashwin Ashok Awchar (25), a resident of Quarter No. D/2, Police Line, Takli, Gittikhadan Police arrested Gaur on July 15, 2013. PSI C M Godse investigated the case and filed a chargesheet against Gaur. As the charges were substantiated in the court, Gaur was stenced to life imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10,000. District GP Advocate Nitin Telgote represented the State. Adv Chetan Thakur was the defence counsel.
