Pregnant women examined under PM’s Surakshit Matritva Yojana

Ninth day of every month is devoted for medical check-up of expecting women under Pradhan Mantri Matritva Suraksha Yojana and in tune with the practice a health check-up camp for expecting woman was organised at Government Urban Primary Health Centre Ghamapur.
The occasion was presided over by Dr Nagariya district health officer while Dr M M Agrawal Chief Medical and Health Officer featured as chief guest and Dr Amita Saxena as special guest.
According to information a free health check-up camp for expecting woman was organised at Government Urban Primary Health Centre Ghamapur on Monday.
In the first phase of check-up expecting woman subjected to check-up, blood pressure, weight, height, HIV were examined by Dr Amita Saxena, Dr Vachan Sharma and Dr Sarang Pandit. In the post check up period in the second phase of the check up camp the pregnant women were distributed essential medicines. In course of distribution of medicines the para medical staff of primary health center Kavita Sonkar, M Pal, Milka, Kiran Sahu, Adilaxmi, Satyaprakash, Pradeep Goswami, Jitendra Sonkar, Jitendra Rajput, Anil Khare, Ajay Gontia, Saurabh Rajput, Archana Patel, Rajni Pathak, Leena Chaudhary, Vandana Chaudhary and other Asha-karyakarta staffers offered valuable support.
It is informed that APO Sandeep Namdeo offered valuable support for medical check up in the health center. In all 102 expecting woman from near by localities were examined in the health check-up camp.
