A painting exhibition by two artists Kishan Soni and Ritu Singh Gaur was organised under Roopabh series of art exhibitions at Bharat Bhawan, on Tuesday. Kishan Soni and Ritu Singh Gaur both are new artists. Their paintings were very traditional, some of them were Radha-Krishna, women figures.
However, Kishan Soni had made Lord Shiva and Parvati. Parvati was shown in jeans with belt and blouse. There were different postures of Radha-Krishna. Kishan has tried to show dieties in new forms so all paintings were eye-catching. The colour composition, distinguished drawings, specially the eyes. Both the painters focused on eyes, the eyes of deities were really attractive. Painters paid attention on women figures and interestingly, all women and men figures were proportionate. This painting exhibition inaugurated on Tuesday will remain open till January 15 from 1 to 7 pm daily, was different from the art exhibitions held at Rangdarshni art gallery of Bharat Bhawan usually. Art connoisseurs and art experts both liked these paintings. No painting needed any title. Both artists had learnt well and even practiced more about drawing and colour application. These artists are not perfect in drawings, but in selecting colours. There were large canvasses at this art gallery inviting attention of visitors from long distance. Every painting needs more time to understand it in detail.
