Mass Surya Nasmakar in schools today

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, alike every year the day will be celebrated as “Youth Day” on Thurday. On this occasion, Surya Namaskar will be collectively performed in all the educational institutes at same time in early morning from 9 am to 10:30 am.
According to the determined program, assembling and presentation of entire program will be done at 9 am. Thereafter, National Song Vande Mataram will be sung in group at 9:20 am. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be delivering his message at 9:30 am. Surya Namaskar and Pranayam will be done at 9:45 am and vote of thanks will be proposed at 10:30 am.

Students from class six to class twelve will gather and perform Surya Namaskar. Participation of students is voluntary and there would be no compulsion in this regard. Apart from this, apart from this around 3,000 students from selected government schools will also gather at Government Excellence Subhash Higher Secondary School ground for mass Surya Namaskar in the special presence of Chief
Minister of state Shivraj Singh Chouhan and School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah. Various other dignitaries and staff will also be present.
