Programme on mediation awareness held

Nagpur Family Court had organised a programme as a part of mediation awareness and Marathi language conservation fortnight. Judge of the court Subhash Kafre was in the chair.
Kafre guided the litigants about the mediation procedure and started that the Constitution has granted equal status to state language and said that Marathi language should be used in most of the work in the court. Marathi language has been groomed by saints, filklore and litterateur and can be understood by everyone easily. The language has rich vocabulary and is able to explain every situation.


Family Court lawyers’ Asssociation President Adv Tejasvini Khade, Adv Sharmila Charalwar, Adv Smita Deshpande, Adv Sham Ambhore were present on the dais.
Family Court judge Palak Jamdar, Manager Dr Rasika Kasture, Registrar Sunil Katekar were prominent among
those present.


Adv Smita Deshpande spoke about structure of mediation, its need and benefits. Sham Ambhore on categorisation of cases and referral to mediator and role of judge, lawyer, litigants and mediator.A skit on mediation was also presented by Adv Khade, Adv Manish Randive, Adv Sushama Nalaskar, Adv Chandrashekhar Dhak, Adv Sham Khule, Adv Kalpana Nalaskar, Adv Milind Dhotarkar, Anushka Solanki, Adv Parag Bezalwar and Adv Jargar. The skit was written and directed by Dr Manjusha Kanade.


Adv Rashmi Khaparde conducted the proceedings. Adv Charalwar proposed a vote of thanks.
