Billing the ensuing elections as fight to finish, Shiv Sena leaders exhorted party rank and file to gear-up as this civic elections provides a never before opportunity to show Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) its right place.

A jam packed hall at Sai Sabhagruha roared to every roar from the dais as Sena sought to showcase its strength to BJP that has slighted former in power structure of State. And the man in action today was Tanaji Sawant, the newly elected Member of Legislative Council (MLC), and also the new Sampark Pramukh nominated by Sena to unite the faction ridden city unit of Sena. The occasion today was party workers conference called by Sawant to signal a no holds barred fight with its ally and senior power partner in State, the ruling BJP. While Sampark Pramukh nominated from Mumbai so far failed to ramp-up Sena in Nagpur city and district, now it remains to be seen whether Sawant proves to be lucky charm for Sena leadership in its ongoing tussle with BJP. Apart from Sawant, local Sena leadership including start orator, Prakash Jadhav, former Member of Parliament (MP), Satish Harde, District unit chief, Adv Ashish Jaiswal, former MLA, Suraj Goje and Mangesh Kashikar, the two city unit chiefs, and host of other leaders were seated on the dais.Addressing party workers, Sawant accepted that fight in ensuing Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) for Sena is quite tough given the odds staked against it.

But in life such situation have provided new vigour to me and so far I have been successful and this time too there would be no difference, the Sena leader said sounding confident to taking the fight home to BJP.
Earlier, Prakash Jadhav speech was the one which Sena activists lustily cheered as he took pot shots at top BJP leaders in city, saying why are they ignoring the problem of pollution due to rampant coal mining which is also wasting precious water.

This elections is the best opportunity to show our nuisance value and if activists can connect with people they can ensure Sena can easily be calling shots in next general body of NMC. Now is the time to ask where are the jobs that were promised during last election and why BJP leaders are silent about it. Do not worry whether you can win or loose but be sure to ensure that ruling BJP is not able to retain power, he said.

Adv Ashish Jaiswal, Satish Harde and Mangesh Kashikar also spoke on the occasion.
