CM, State BJP welcome PM’s announcements on eve of New Year

In his brisk comment on the message given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the countrymen on the eve of New Year, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh tweeted that the Prime Minister has created history through his vision, steely resolve and dream of development for the people of this country. Dr Singh added that PM Modi is leaving no stone unturned to make 2017, a transformative year for farmers, women, senior citizens and poor. It is indeed a very humbling moment.
Chief Minister added that he salutes the Prime Minister’s strategy and executional finesse to bring economic development to each and every section of society. He further stated that from the schemes announced by the Prime Minister for villages, poor, farmers, women, senior citizens and for the micro, medium and small scale industries shows his humanity and far-sightedness as these schemes will bring far-fetched results for the country. He said from his speech the Prime Minister has made it aptly clear that his government is with honest and upright people has taken resolve to bring back people diverted from mainstream on right path.
Bharatiya Janata Party State President Dharamlal Kaushik while extending his best wishes to one and all on the occasion of New Year, said he believes
that the welfare schemes announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take the country to great heights.
BJP State Spokesperson Shivratan Sharma while addressing a press conference on Sunday termed the Prime Minister’s address to the Nation on the eve of New Year as historic and unprecedented. There was a time when people used to talk about green revolution but in 2017 people will hold talks for decades to come on the economic revolution which will take place now after implementation of demonetization policy. He said while following the footsteps laid down by Pt Deendayal Upadhyay, BJP governments in state and country have made arrangements so that no poor will die of hunger and development will reach the last person of the society. In Chhattisgarh, the BJP government has implemented Food Security Act.
Prime Minister Modi has announced rebate to the tune of 4 percent and 3 percent in interest rates for houses up to Rs 9 lakh and Rs 12 lakh respectively under Prime Minister Housing Scheme, so that poor and middle-class houseless people can have their houses. After demonetization, frequency of cashless transactions in the country has increased by 100 percent. Premium of insurance companies have also increased. Cash dumped with people have now been deposited in banks which will facilitate easy loans for people who can carry out business or establish small scale industries.
Sharma added that the Prime Minister has announced permanent interest on deposits in banks deposited by senior citizens apart from resolution of depositing Rs 6,000 in the bank accounts of pregnant women, which would help in improving health condition of both mother and child. On behalf of Chhattisgarh unit of Bharatiya Janata Party, Sharma extended his gratitude to the Prime Minister for implementing schemes which will take the country ahead.
