Congress is giving final touch to the strategy under which it is going to organise state wide demonstration on January 6 against the demonetisation decision. It is leaving no stone unturned in preparations. Congress has organised an important meeting on January 3 which would be presided over by State Congress In charge Mohan Prakash.
Along with this, Congress has asked its district presidents to hold press conferences in their respective districts over the proposed demonstration.
As far as meeting of January 3 is concerned, then it will be attended by State Congress President Arun Yadav, AICC Secretary Rakesh Kaliya, etc. Arun Yadav has directed all the post bearers of the organisation to attend the party. It is learnt that meeting will be attended by Congress Management Committee, district and city
Congress Presidents, MLAs, Congress Lok Sabha candidates 2014. Notably, this is for the first time in New Year that Congress has planned any state wide demonstration. Congress is against the demonetisation decision. It is claiming that demonetisation decision has been taken to benefit some big industrialists and said decision has put country’s economy into peril. Through the demonstration, Congress wants to highlight various factors to substantiate its claim that demonetisation has proved disastrous to economy and left small traders in tatters.
