MPHCBA members to gherao Omti police stn today

MADHYA Pradesh High Court Bar Association (MPHCBA) members will gherao Omti police station demanding withdrawal of alleged forged case lodged by police against a member of MPHCBA. MPHCBA President Senior Advocate Adarsh Muni Trivedi alleged that a forged case has been filed against Advocate Nishant Rai. He further informed that MPHCBA has already submitted a memorandum to Additional SP Devendra Pratap Singh Rajput on December 29, demanding withdrawal of the forged case against MPHCBA member by January 1, but no action has been taken by the police. Now, MPHCBA is compelled to stage protest and hence will gherao Omti police station from 2 pm onwards on Monday. MPHCBA Secretary Shashank Shekhar has made an appeal to the advocates to gather at Silver Jubilee Hall at High Court. MPHCBA President Senior Advocate Adarsh Muni Trivedi, Secretary Shashank Shekhar, Senior Vice-President Jitendra Tiwari, K K Pandey, Rahul Rawat, Ashish Tiwari, Sushma Tiwari and a large number of MPHCBA members were present on the occasion.
