CM dedicates water, adventure sports facility in Naya Raipur

Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh dedicated the Water and Adventure Sports facility being established at Sengh water reservoir in Naya Raipur.
While dedicating the facility, the Chief Minister said alike Jungle Safari and Purkhoti Muktangan, the Sengh Water Reservoir, which is spread over 800 acres area, will be a major tourist attraction.
After dedicating the facility, the Dr Singh took a ride in a motor-boat in Sengh reservoir. On the occasion he directed the officials concerned to develop more sporting facilities for youths and children in the area.
Under the water sports category, kayaking, rafting, speedboat, and paddle boat facilities is being extended presently while under the adventure sports sporting events like jeep line, sky ride, zorbing ball, archery, all terrain vehicle ride, Burma bridge, hanging bridge, bungee trampoline and parasailing are available.
The sporting facilities will be available from January 4 for the people at Rs 400 per head. Anyone above the age of 6 years can take the benefit of these sporting facilities between 8am to 5pm on all week days. The facility will remain closed on Sunday.
Dr Singh on the occasion also flagged off feeder bus service. Under the BRTS, AC buses will ply between Raipur railway station to Sengh water reservoir, Muktangan and Jungle Safari.
