Jilted lover brutally stabs girl

A young girl was brutally stabbed by a jilted lover at a public place near Avanti Vihar on Tuesday morning. Police have arrested the accused and recovered the sharp knife used in the crime.

As per information received from Telibandha police, the incident took place on Tuesday at 10:15 am when the girl Archana Dubey (25), resident of Santoshi Nagar, Tikrapara was on the way to Avanti Vihar. She used to work for an NGO to teach Tribal children in Vijay Nagar area under Deendayal Upadhyay Gramin Kaushal Yojana. The accused identified as Aditya Jaiswal (28) was working in a private company, stabbed the girl by a sharp knife. Police informed that after two stabbings in her stomach, the youth tried to escape. Public present on the spot apprehended the accused and handed him over to police. The girl was rushed to Ram Krishna Hospital and admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for treatment. Her condition is reportedly critical. Sonu Dubey, brother of the victim girl lodged an FIR with Telibandha police. Police registered the case under Section 307 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).

In his complaint Sonu Dubey informed police that Archana Dubey came in contact with the Aditya sometime back when they were working together in some company. Earlier, the girl had filed a complaint with Tikrapara police and Mahila Thana against Aditya, mentioned Sonu Dubey.
