Maharashtra Police Raising Day celebrated with gusto

Nagpur City Police and their rural counterparts organised various programmes as a part of Maharashtra Police Raising Day celebrations. A visit of students of Sindhi Hindi High School, Khamla, to Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station was organised. Police Inspector (PI) Sachin Shirke explained the students about functioning of police station, crime prevention and detection and maintenance of law and order. They were given tips on safety while using internet and social networking sites. Fire arms were displayed. Students were explained the technical aspects of using weapons.
Similar programme was also organised at Jaripatka Police Station by senior Inspector C M Bahadure. Dhantoli Police handed over 25 stolen vehicles seized from thieves to their owners after completing the necessary formalities. Under the leadership of senior PI Rajan Mane, cops also returned the seized gold ornaments as per the court’s order.
Nagpur (Rural) Police, under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Anant Rokde, organised similar programmes at Jalalkheda, Veltur, Mauda, Ramtek, Narkhed, Umred, Kelvad and Khapa.
