Opt for BJP for overall development: CM

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, on Saturday, addressed public meetings at Ramtek, Umred, Saoner, and Kamptee and appealed to the people to vote for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates in the municipal council elections.
Addressing a meeting at Umred, Fadanvis appealed to the people to elect BJP presidential candidate Vijaylakshmi Bhadoriya and all 24 candidates contesting election for the posts of councillors for all-round development of the town.
Addressing the meeting at New Adyalwale Layout in Umrer, he shed light on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a developed India and also about various schemes launched by State Government.
To overcome problems arising out of growing urbanisation, which must be accepted as a fact by one and all, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana has been launched to provide shelter to every citizen by 2022, Fadnavis said. MUDRA Yojana has so far covered one crore enterprising youths. He added that Prime Minister’s decision on demonetisation had not only turned unaccounted money of corrupt people into trash but also
halted circulation of counterfeit currency and anti-national activities in Jammu and Kashmir. He appealed to the people not to elect ‘selfish people’ again in Umred.
Earlier, Vijaylakshmi Bhadoriya, MLA Sudhir Parwe, Guardian Minister Chandrasekhar Bawankule, Anandrao Raut, and Dr Shirish Meshram also addressed the gathering.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also addressed a meeting at Kamptee and said that there was no dearth of funds for development. “Once the proposals of good schemes are sent, the Government will clear those. Together with you, we will change the face of Kamptee.
However, you should not make a wrong choice while exercising your franchise in municipal council polls on Sunday,” he said.
Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Bahujan Republican Ekta Manch (BREM) convener Adv Sulekha Kumbhare, BJP candidate for Kamptee civic chief’s post Ajay Kadam, Manish Vajpayee, Sanjay Khobragade, Vivek Mangtani, Anil Nidhan, Arvind Gajbhiye, Kishor Revatkar and others were present prominently in the meeting.
Fadnavis appreciated Bawankule for working tirelessly for development of Kamptee and Nagpur district. In his speech, Bawankule urged the Government to extend Metro Rail up to Kamptee and also distribute ownership titles to dwellers in 17 slums.
Adv Sulekha Kumbhare urged the people not to ‘sell the right to vote given by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’. She urged the people to elect Ajay Kadam.
