Amit Shah accorded rousing welcome

NATIONAL President of Bharatiya Janata Party Amit Shah was accorded rousing welcome by BJP leaders, party workers and members of Sikh community on his arrival at Dumna Airport by Spice Jet plane at 12 noon. He was in the city to attend 350th birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji observed as Prakash Parv on Sunday.
Along with BJP President Amit Shah, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP National Vice-President Kailash Vijayvargiya, State President BJP NandkumarSingh Chouhan also arrived in the city to attend Prakash Parv. Those who welcomed the leaders were BJP Chief Whip and Member of Parliament Rakesh Singh, accompanied by Minister of State Sharad Jain, State Vice-President Vinod Gontia, State Organisational Secretary Atul Rai, BJYM, State President, Abhilash Pandey, BJP city chief G S Thakur, Rural President, Shiv Patel, Mayor Dr Swati Godbole, MLA Anchal Sonkar, Ashok Rohani, Sushil Tiwari, Pratibha Singh, Nandani Maravi, L B Lobo, JDA Chairman Dr Vinod Mishra, AVVC, Vice-President S K Muddin, Jila Panchayat, Chairperson, Manorama Patel, former MLA Harendrajeet Singh, Sadanand Godbole, Sumitra Valmiki, Sandeep Jain, Rajesh Mishra, Shivram Bain, Ranu Tiwari, Rajesh Rai, Rajesh Dahia along with all the BJP city unit office-bearers, mandal presidents and workers were present in large numbers.
At Dumna Airport, BJP National President Amit Shah greeted members on New Year and Prakash Parv and left for Circuit House no. 1 where he meet senior party workers and leaders from Jabalpur city and rural areas. Thereafter, he left for the main programme at Shivaji Ground. After attending the programme, National President Amit Shah, accompanied by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and others leaders, visited house of MP Rakesh Singh and also met public representatives, party office-bearers of the State and district and also learned about progress and works of the organisation.
