Patwari should resolve applications of villagers within stipulated time: Collector

Collector gave instructions to give RCMS related training to all patwaris and revenue inspectors. He also gave instructions to officials to start the verification work of farmers registered under Bhawantar Bhugtan Yojana. He gave instructions to all the officials to resolve the complaints related to their department on CM Helpline as soon as possible

All the patwaris of the district should be issued directions to be present in the Gram Panchayat of their area on set dates so that during these dates patwaris can receive applications from villagers and resolve them by being present during the office hours. The information regarding the presence of patwaris in panchayat should be mentioned on the main wall of Panchayat Bhawan so that villagers should have information regarding it and they do not have to bother in vain.

These instructions were given by Collector Dr Sudam Khade to all the SDMs of the district at the weekly review meeting organised at Collectorate. He said that most of the applications of villagers are related to patwari of the village or panchayat secretary. Their presence in the panchayat makes villagers very comfortable. Additional Collector Mohit Bundas, GP Mali, Disha Nagvanshi, Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Harjinder Singh and officials of other departments were also present at the meeting.


Collector gave instructions to SDM and tehsildars to continue the work of B-1 recital regularly among villagers. He also gave instructions to give RCMS related training to all Patwaris and Revenue Inspectors. He said that all the officials should also keep vigil on the redressal of audit clauses of their respective department.
