Seminar on ‘impact of addiction on career’ marks De-addiction Week

Under De-addiction Week, Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance Scheme Cell organised a seminar on the topic ‘impact of addiction on career’ held at Government Mahakoushal College of Arts and Commerce on Monday.


Hemant Solanki, President of Nav Jyoti De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre, invited as keynote speaker, said that addiction badly affected the career of young generation.


Solanki said that any type addiction is injurious for human body not only for physical group but also for mental stability. Dr N K Sarkar emphasised over the physical and mental disorders occurred during to different kind of addiction. They both appealed students to stay away from addiction and also
motivate others to do the same. Seminar convenor Dr Arun Shukla informed that the seminar was organised with the objective to create awareness against addiction and how it adversely affected one's career.


Others who present included Dr Brajesh Shrivastava, Anand Jain, Neeraj Rajak, Dr Sumit Pari, psychiatrist and a large number of students from Mahakoushal College.
