Ground breaking ceremony of Agrovision 2017 performed

AGROVISION 2017, a national agro expo, workshop and conference will commence from November 10 at Reshimbagh Ground. The ground breaking (Bhoomipujan) ceremony of erection of exhibition hangers and workshop domes was performed on Monday at the hands of Mayor Nanda Jichkar. Also present on the occasion were Sudhakar Kohale, MLA South Nagpur, Satish Hole, Dr Chotu Bhoyar and Usha Pilot, all corporators, Bandu Raut, former corporator, Ramesh Mankar, Ravi Boratkar, organising secretaries of Agrovision. Started under the guidance of Union Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari who is the Chief Patron Agrovision, every year Agrovision is getting overwhelming response from the farmers. Similar response is expected for the 9th edition too.

Agrovision will be showcasing products of more than 400 companies. New agriculture products, machineries, agro services will be displayed at Agrovision. Multi-national companies, local small entrepreneurs, self help groups (SHGs) will also display various products manufactured by them. Stall of Government departments to give information about various Government schemes will also be the part of the 9th edition of Agrovision expo. Grass root level innovators get the chance to display their products, machines and Apps for the benefit of the farmers. This year the main attraction of Agrovision will be ‘Live Stock Pavilion.’

There will be hangers of 1,000 square meters for indoor stalls for big machines, there will be 3,000 square meters open space available. For workshops, total 4 domes will be constructed. Farmer can take advantage of workshop on 35 various topics. More than 50 agricultural experts and agricultural scientists will guide the farmers during the workshops. Success stories of successful farmers will be a part of Agrovision workshops. this year the importance of bamboo and its products will be discussed during the panel discussion.

For the growth of dairy business and in order to increase farmers income, a conference will be organised on November 12 at 9.30 am. Discussion will take place on opportunity in the field of dairy development.

Pre registration is necessary for workshops and conferences. Registration can be done through Agrovision App on any smart phone. Central India’s biggest Agri Expo is commencing from November 10 to 13 at Reshimbagh Ground in the city.
