Preparations begin for National Convention of Sahitya Parishad

The biggest representative organisation of the nationalist litterateurs of country Akhil Bharatiya Sahitya Parishad will hold its 15th National Convention on October 6, 7 and 8 in Jabalpur. To discuss the preliminary preparations of National Convention with the litterateurs of Jabalpur, an important meeting was held at Jamna Sabhagraha, Golebazar, on Monday.

The meeting was held in special presence of senior journalist and poet, Mohan Shashi and Acharya Bhagwat Dubey presided over the meeting.


Convenor of the meeting Dr Sudhir Agrawal enlightened views on the organisation of National Convention and also apprised that in this three-day event of literature. Over 600 noted writers, poets, litterateurs, academicians, researchers from different parts of the country would participate. The programme would be inaugurated by Governor of Goa, Mridula Sinha. On October 8, Higher Education Minister, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya would attend the concluding ceremony. Various noted personalities of literature world would participate. On October 7, a grand Sahitya Shobhayatra would be organised from Baldeobagh Square, which would pass through main streets of the city and would culminate at Govind Gunj via Galla mandi.


In the meeting, eminent those who shared their views and gave advice to add grandeur to the event include Abhimanyu Jain, Rajesh Pathak Praveen, Kamta Sagar, Manish Tiwari, Vijay Shree Mishra, Manoj Shukla, Geeta Geet, Vijay Nema Anuj, D P Sahu, Sandhya Shukla, Mohan Ji and others along with members of Vartika, Jagran, Rashtriya Kavi Sangam, Hindi Sahitya Bharti, Kadambani, Madhya Pradesh Artist Forum, Viprakul Parishad, Sanskar Bharti, Hum Ek Sanstha and others.
