All set for Deepawali Mela to be held at Chitrakoot

District Collector Mukesh Kumar Shukla, along with S.P Rajesh Hingankar visited Chitarkoot to take stock pf the preparations being done for the Deepawali fair being organized at Chitrakoot.

In view of the gathering of large crowd at venue of fair and at all the pilgrim spot at Chitrakoot, both officers took stock of the arrangements being done at the area for the safety and convenience of devotees. .
They also saw the stair way developed near Hanuman Dhara and temporary parking spot being developed near Hanuman Dhara.

Collector along with officers also visited Mohkamgarh Hanuman Dhara bypass and directed concerning officers forrepaiaring of culvert of contact road. The PWD and MRSRDC officers were directed to complete the work. Collector asked for making this bypass motorable s o that vehicle coming from Satna can be diverted to Hanuman bypass. Collector also visited the space allotted for vehicle parking near hanuman Dhara.

Collector also visited Bharat Ghat, Raghav Prayag Ghat, Ramghat of Mandikini river where devotees gathers for ‘deepdan’ during Deepawali fair .
Collector Shukla directed CMOO< city Panchayat for tieing coloured rope through pole on both side of banks. The electric pole installed at Bharat Ghat, Raghav, Prayag ghat, should be made functional and proper lighting at Madikini Ghat should be done. The Collector also visted Kamtanath ‘Pratiham Mukhranbindu’ and ‘Dwitiya Mukharbindu’ and inquired about crowd management. He asked fir proper barricading through bamboo poles on both side of road near ‘Pratam Mukharbindu’ so that devotes can reach the temple easily.

Adequate length of water pipeline from fire tenders, water tanker should be maintained near ‘Pratham Mukharbindu’.
Collector also saw the temporary bus stand near Purani Lanka Rajola. The Collector said that after seven days he would again visit the area.
