Judges, advocates clean premises of Raipur District and Sessions Court

Premise of Raipur District and Sessions Court was cleaned by judges including District and Sessions Judge Neelam Chand Sankhla, advocates and the court employees on Sunday.


The cleanliness programme was coined as Samuhik Swachhata Karyakram and it was organised by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Raipur. The district judge is also the President of DLSA and he not only imparted valuable guidance but also led this cleanliness drive, informed DLSA secretary Umesh Kumar Upadhyay. Members of an association called Bunch of Fools also worked for cleanliness of the court premises.


Judges, advocates and court employees started coming to the court premises at 6 am on Sunday and by 6.30 am all of them took brooms in their hands. The cleanliness work was done up to 11 am. The district judge also took the broom and after cleanliness work, he also wrote message on the wall of the court premises.
