ACB staff extends financial help to NPC Kedar’s widow

AS a noble gesture, officers and constabulary staff of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Nagpur Range, contributed their two days salary and extended financial assistance of Rs 3,12,500 to the widow of Naik Police Constable (NPC) Manoj Kedar.


NPC Kedar (42), who was working as a driver at ACB from August 22 last year, passed away due to cardiac arrest while on duty on October 6. He is survived by his wife and two school-going children. ACB staff from Nagpur Range decided to extend financial assistance to his wife Sarika and contributed two days salary.


On Thursday, Superintendent of Police (ACB) R R Patil handed over a cheque of Rs 3,12,500 to Kedar’s wife Sarika in the presence of her brother Arvind Ramteke, her brother-in-law Sunil and bureau officers.
