Staff Reporter,

Taking note of serious lapse in preparation of medical report of gangrape victim girl, Bhopal Division Commissioner Ajatshatru Shrivastava has issued notice to two doctors of Sultania Lady Hospital on Thursday.  Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, Bhopal Division Commissioner Ajatshatru Shrivastava said that, seeing the serious irregularity in medical report of gangrape case, he issued notices to two doctors of Sultania Lady Hospital. He issued notice to Dr Sanyukta Sareyam and Dr Khushboo Gajbhiye respectively.

It is also reportedly learnt that in first medical report, it was stated that girl entered into intercourse with accused with her consent. It was in second medical report that gangrape was confirmed. Later, doctors have pleaded their fault before cops and this was the basis of action against them.

In the meantime, it is also learnt that Sultania Hospital Superintendent Dr Karan Peepre has also issued notices to some doctors in the wake of irregularity in medical report of gangrape victim. ‘The Hitavada’ tried to contact him, but to no avail.

Notably, a UPSC coaching student was returning home on November 1 evening when she was allegedly overpowered and raped by four accused. When the victim somehow reached police station to file the case, she faced the cold attitude of cops. Later, State Government took serious note in dereliction in registration of case and removed Bhopal IG Yogesh Chaudhary, Bhopal Railway SP Anita Malviya and suspended at least three cops.

This issue has gained the political hues and left State Government in troubled waters. Bhopal burst into protests with demonstrators demanding capital punishment to accused. All the four accused were arrested by police after couple of days of gangrape incident that created sensation at national level.
