CM confident of retaining power in 2018

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated election management office of BJP at BJP headquarters on Friday. He claimed that BJP will form government for fourth time in State and will come back to power in centre in 2019. He asked party workers to give their best performance to realise the dream of party. “There is time of a year for next elections in state. From today we take the pledge to give best performance,” he told.

He told that his Government is trying to realise the dream of golden Madhya Pradesh. BJP’s National Vice President Prabhat Jha, BJP State President Nandkumar Singh Chouhan, BJP State organisation general secretary Suhash Bhagat were also present on this occasion. Apart from this, many ministers including public relations minister Dr Narottam Mishra, revenue minister Umashankar Gupta, home minister Bhupendra Singh, power minister Paras Jain, higher education minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, Minister of state Deepak Joshi, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Minister of state Vishwas Sarang, former Mayor Krishna Gaur etc were present.

Ministers also exuded confidence that party will be able to achieve the target of 200 plus assembly seats in next assembly elections. Notably, during his last visit to Madhya Pradesh, BJP national president Amit Shah had asked state BJP to win more than 200 seats in coming assembly elections. It is since then that state BJP is working in this direction and setting up of election management office far ahead from next assembly election is a step in this direction. BJP has already prepared various programmes in the direction of achieving target of 200 plus assembly seats.
