Govt committed to provide specialised treatment to public, says Sharad Jain

“The State Government under leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is committed to provide basic and specialised treatment to people,” said Minister of State for Medical Education (Independent Charge) and Public Health and Family Planning Department Sharad Jain while conducting inspection of ongoing construction work of Community Health Centre near Gayatri Temple, Manmohan Nagar on Friday.

Jain said State Government has sanctioned Rs 4.24 crore for construction of the building of Community Health Centre. This community centre has 30 beds having facility of delivery point, general wards and services of one gynaecologist, one orthopaedician, one paediatrician, one physician to meet any emergency medical services round-the-clock. CHC will have facilities to meet any emergency related to delivery. Besides this, OPD gynaecological services available would be available to people.

Opening of CHC will facilitate large number of patients living in Vijay Nagar, Katangi, Madhotal and other and other adjoining areas. Minister said that construction work is expected to be completed by March next year. Before completion, appointment of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff will be done, he added. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Murli Agrawal said there department is committed for implementation of Government Health Beneficiary schemes meant for the poor people and last person in the society, as per the wishes of Government.

Appointment of concern medical staff would be done in next two to three months, so that the people coming to Health Centers would be benefited.District Media Officer, Health Department, Ajay Kureel, MIC Member Shreeram Shukla, Veena Jain, Corporator, Mamta Tiwari, Shankar Shrivastava, Pintu Patel, Rajeev Rathore, Fateh Chand vasvani, Local Corporators and representatives of political parties were present on the occasion.
