District-level Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Avam Kaushal Sammelan was organised at Khurai. The chief guest on the occasion was Minister of State for Micro, Medium Enterprise, Higher Education Sanjay Pathak. Home and Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh Thakur presided over the meeting. The special guest was MP Minister Laxminarayn Yadav. On the occasion, beneficiaries of 16 departments were distributed Rs 6.95 crore worth loan approval letter. Further, loan was sanctioned to 301 beneficiaries worth Rs 10.98 crores.

In this Employment Fair, 4130 unemployed youths were registered by 15 companies and 1585 youths were given primary selection for employment. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Sanjay Pathak said that Khurai is famous for agriculture equipments and Khurai is full fledged for technical skill and need is to hon the skill and hence Minister Bhupendra Singh is making effort in this direction. Department is sanctioning Rs 17 crores for new Industrial Area. He said that Minister Singh is leaving no stone unturned for development of thus area .

Minister Pathak said that last year, 5,44,000 youths were involved with self employment and this year 7.5 lakh youths would be connected with self employment activities. Youths should not run for job rather they should involved with self employment activities. At tehsil level, industry and self employment units would be setup. Home and Transport Minister Bhupendra Singh said that 15big companies have come to this fair and this fair would prove beneficial for young boys and girls . the loan cases sanctioned in this fair, its distribution would be done here only.

He informed that from next session Agriculture College would start in Khurai and youths passing out from this college would get employment opportunities. In Polytechnic College of Khurai many new subjects have been sanctioned and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. has sanctioned new building. At Pandit KC Sharma High School, computer centtre with cost of Rs 1 crore has been set up and students are being given counseling on making their career in electronic field.

Collector Alok Kumar Singh said that 15 companies themselves shown their keen desire to attend thus fair and selected youths for various jobs. General Manager of the District Trade and Industry Centre A R Mansoori threw light on the objectives of the Mukhyamantri Sw-rozgar Yojna.
Khurai Municipality President Indra Kumar Rai, District BJP President Raja Dubey, S.P Satyendra Shukla, JD, Industry GS Marko, JD, Tehcnical Education PD Gaur, SDM Arun Kumar Singh, Principal, ITI P Vishwakarma and others were present.
