CM Chouhan distributes cheques under Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Evam Kaushal Vikas Yojana

“Madhya Pradesh is far ahead of America in women empowerment and protection of human and cultural values. Maximum number of mayors in Madhya Pradesh symbolise the advancement of women in State. It is the short-sightedness of Congress leaders, who criticized me through social media for my statement on better condition of roads in Madhya Pradesh in comparison to America. Some of the roads of Indore and Bhopal are really better than the American roads. The appreciation of our own state in foreign country should be a matter of pride for every citizen,” said Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan was addressing a mammoth gathering of residents during Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Evam Kaushal Sammelan – 2017 at Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University premises, on Saturday.
Addressing the programme, CM, Chouhan informed that the Madhya Pradesh Government is going to bring Gareeb Kalyan Agenda, taking inspiration from the ideology of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

Bhartiya Janata Party believes in social justice to poor and needy persons by ensuring availability of food, shelter and share of natural resources for them. Materialising the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the State Government will ensure availability of 24 lakh houses to poor families in next two years. The BJP Government is committed to bringing smile on faces of every single poor standing last in the row.The Chief Minister added that, Madhya Pradesh was first to introduce Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana in the country for making agriculture a profitable business and providing adequate price of crops to farmers. Jabalpur is ranked 21st cleanest city in the country and efforts should be made to bring it on top with the support of residents.

He administered oath to the residents for ensuring their contribution in ongoing development projects to make Madhya Pradesh best state in the country and world as well.During the programme, CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated ‘Panchagavya’ products prepared by Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University and congratulated the Vice-Chancellor, Dr Prayag Datt Juyal for research on better utilisation of cow dung and urine for providing self-employment opportunities to youngsters and providing additional financial benefits to farmers. Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for MSME, Sanjay Pathak expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister for his positive approach in development of new employment opportunities and providing adequate support to youngsters for their self employment. He has been given responsibility as first minister of newly constituted MSME Department.

Around 4,500 youngsters are self-employed after being benefited with the Government schemes in the State. Member of Parliament, Rakesh Singh appreciated the initiatives of Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan for development of State and welfare of residents. He wished CM, Chouhan all success in his endeavour for fourth term for the BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh.

He paid tribute to late Ishwardas Rohani and termed him as an ideal public representative, who always worked with double pace in adverse circumstances.MLA, Ashok Rohani remembered his father and former Speaker of State Legislative Assembly, late Ishwardas Rohani and welcomed CM Chouhan and other guests.On the occasion, CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan honoured a large number of senior citizens for their valuable contribution in service of the society and distributed cheques amounting to Rs 119.68 crore to more than 5,284 beneficiaries for establishing their enterprise under the head of Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Evam Kaushal Vikas Yojana. At the outset, CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to late Baburao Paranjpe and late Ishwardas Rohani.During the programme, Minister of State, Sharad Jain, Mayor, Dr Swati Godbole, Jabalpur Development Authority, Chairman, Dr Vinod Mishra, Mahakoshal Development Authority, Chairman, Prabhat Sahu, BJP, City President, G S Thakur, Rural President, Shiv Patel, BJYM, State President, Abhilash Pandey, Jila Panchayat, President, Manorama Patel, MLAs, Nandini Maravi, Sushil Tiwari, Pratibha Singh, nominated MLA, L B Lobo, State Minority Cell, Vice-President, S K Muddin and others were present.
