Hockey player Vikash Choudhary to display talent in Oman League

Madhya Pradesh State Hockey Academy’s player Vikash Choudhary will display prowess of his talent in Oman League to be held in Oman’s Muscat from November 16 till December 21. This is for the second time that hockey player Vikash Choudhary has been selected for Oman League. Before this, it was in May 2017 that Vikash Choudhary participated in League and ensured silver medal for the team. Apart from this, he was also selected for the coveted ‘Best Forward’ player award.

In altogether, three players have been selected from Madhya Pradesh and Vikas Choudhary is the lone player of Madhya Pradesh State Hockey Academy, who has been selected for Oman League. He will leave for Muscat on Tuesday. Before this, he met Director, Sports and Youth Welfare, Upendra Jain. Upendra Jain has congratulated Vikash Choudhary for being selected for Oman League and inspired him to give his best performance in the Oman League.

Vikash Choudhray informed that it is due to the efforts of Sports Minister that State players are regularly getting opportunity to show their talent at international level and getting class level training.  He informed that recently he got the chance to take training from world famous hockey trainer. He is taking training from academy since 2009 and had participated in Hockey India League 2012-13 and played on behalf of Ranchi team in 2014-15.
