Staff Reporter,

The Pedal Club and Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) joined the country’s largest mission “Clean India” in which group of 15 students participated in a 234 kms long cycling rally.

The rally started from BSSS College campus and reached Sironj Janapada office passing through Bairasia and Shamshabaad where the team was accorded a floral welcome. The CEO Sironj Janapada, OP Gupta and Officer In-Charge “Clean India Mission”, BS Mandloi appreciated the efforts of the team and said that this would lead to spreading awareness and inspire the youth toward this noble cause. The team returned back the next day with its mission accomplished to a great extent. Principal, Dr. Fr. John PJ, congratulated the team and motivated them to participate in more such challenging deeds.

Pertinent to mention here that the Pedal Club, BSSS, is actively involved in spreading awareness regarding environmental issues and also about cleanliness drives and organises such events every Sunday. The Club, under guidance of Vishal Singh Sengar, strives to face the challenging situations. This is just the beginning and the club is aspiring to pedal the length and breadth of the country, spreading the message of healthy environment as a part and parcel of Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Clean India Mission”.
