Huge attendance expected in All India Yog Sammelan

Proceedings will start with Jagar, Ishwar Pranidhan and Yoga Classes from 4.30 am to 7.30 am daily under the guidance of Rambhau Khandwe.

Satish Mohgaonkar of Unity Sports Club, Bapu Nagar, will present breathtaking yoga demonstration along with his team on first day.

Kumari Dhanashree Lekurwale, winner of many national and international awards, will give her demonstrations during this event.

Ashit Ambekar will guide on the insights of the yoga philosophy on all the three days of the sammelan.

Dr Sanjay Phadke, a well-known Neuro Psychiatrist from Pune, will also give his well- researched guidance on ‘mind, brain, and yog’.

A 10-km march from West Nagpur will be carried out by the representatives on concluding day.

Kirtan by Charudutt Aphale and well-researched discourses by Vivek Ghalasasi Jitendranath Maharaj will be held in evening.

Stage is all set for All India Yog Sammelan being organised from November 17 to 19 at Ram Nagar Sangh Maidan. The event will be held to mark 125th birth anniversary of Param Pujjaniya Parivrajakacharya Yogamurti Shri Janardhan Swami Maharaj and around 5,000 yoga seekers are expected to participate in the same.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday at Ram Nagar Sangh Maidan, Rambhau Khandwe, Secretary of Janardanswami Yogabhyasi Mandal said, the venue has been named as ‘Yogmurti Nagar’. A huge pandal measuring 300 sq ft X 80 sq ft is being set up in Yogamurti Nagar where these 5,000 participants can do yog sadhana together. The platform in this pavilion will be magnificent and attractive as well. Apart from this, special LED screens will be installed in the pavilion area as well as in the outdoor areas for easy viewing. There will be a total of 16 stalls in this pavilion and it will be provided free of cost to Yoga Education Institutions. Each representative participating in this conference will be given a kit with useful items for Yogabhyas. Tea, breakfast, and meal arrangements throughout the day will also be arranged, he added.

This sammelan has received a valuable support from all the social and religious institutions as well as citizens of Ram Nagar area, mainly Shaktipeeth, CKP Hall, West Nagpur Civic Union, Shree Siddharudh Aadhytma Samiti, Bawane Kunabi Samaj, Agrasen Samaj, Karnataka Association, South Indian Association, Sanvedna Sanstha, Saraswati Temple, Bharat Vidyalaya, Ramnagar Corporation School, Bhratru Mandal, Maitri Parivar, Snehmilan, etc. The valuable cooperation of these institutions has made this Yog Sammelan possible, Khandwe stated. Adequate arrangements for parking of two wheelers and four wheelers have been made at Bharat Vidyalaya and in the premises of Ramnagar corporation school respectively.

Union Minister of Road Transport, Highways, Shipping, Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate the sammelan on November 17 at 10.30 am. Nagpur district Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Paramshradhyey Sadguru Dr Shivkumar Mahaswami, Superintendent, Chidambarashram, Bidar (Karnataka) and Dr Ishwar Basavareddy, Director, Morarji Desai National Yoga Institute, New Delhi will also grace the occasion. Sanjay Arora, Anil Najpande, Milind Vazalwar, Prashant Rajurkar, Sanjay Lashkare, Atul Mujumdar, Rahul Kanitkar and other members of organising committee were also present at the press conference.
