Two held in loot case, i-Phone seized

Jehangirabad police have arrested two persons on Tuesday in connection with loot of an i-phone with marketing employee from near Neelam Park music fountain on November 6. However, later in the investigation of police, the victim confessed that the accused didn’t actually rob of his mobile instead they had taken it on name of purchasing but later didn’t give payment.


ASP Dharamveer Yadav while talking to mediapersons said that both the accused were identified as Khijjar Mohammad Shahid (19) and Sarwez (20), both native of Sehore district.
The arrested accused told police that they had sold 21-year-old victim Bharat Udasi's iphone mobile at Karar mobile shop located in Ghoda Nakkas area in Rs 43,000. For this the accused made a fake bill of Prakash mobile shop. They took Rs 10,000 from the shop owner and purchased another iphone in Rs 33,000. The victim’s mobile has been seized by the police.


However in the loot incident, later police had registered a case on charges of sections 406, 420 and 34 of the IPC against both the arrested accused.
