PBIVV celebrates 80th Foundation Day

The 80th Foundation Day of the Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishvariya Vishwavidyalaya (PBIVV) was celebrated in grand manner at Vidhya Bhawan organised by the Prajapita Brahmakumari Shiv Vardan Bhawan, Katanga on Wednesday. To mark the occasion, a symposium on “Human values and World Peace” was organised.

Union Cabinet Minister and Shiv Sena leader in Parliament, Anant Geete was chief guest, while State President Shiv Sena, Thaneshwar Mahawar graced the occasion. Eminent Rajyoga trainer, Behan Kumari Vimala was keynote speaker. Former Vice President of the Jabalpur Development Authority (JDA), Madhu Choudhary graced the occasion.

Addressing the programme, Union Cabinet Minister, Anant Geete greeted all the members of Prajapita Brahmakumari Vishwavidyalaya on the 80th Foundation day programme. He said, he had deep connection of spiritual strength in his life story and success. Values and culture are involved in every phase of our life and we see God in everything, which are our Vedic traditions. Our religion is Sanatan that means our religions are not incepted by anyone. It is stream of values, culture, traditions and rituals that has came from ancient scriptures to the present life.

Owing to the impact of modern life, modernisation, globalisation and much more that is taking place in our lives, deviating us from our own identity. This is resulting in decline in moral values and human ethics.
Geete said that, people and organisations working for the conservation of our values, traditions, culture and beliefs are real protectors of our rich religious and spiritual assets. Prajapita Brahmakumaris Ishvariya Vishwavidyalaya is one of the foremost organisations that is working on spiritual education since last 80 years. He further appreciated such events and issues discussed in the symposium for the future generation.

On this occasion, B K Vimla Devi, eminent Rajyoga trainer, in her preaching, said that, for the establishment of peace in the world, every person has to experience the eternal peace in heart. The only way to establish peace in the world initiates from interpersonal to the society and that would transform in to national and then world. She said that values are actual parameters in society that could establish peace and calmness amongst citizens.

Earlier, programme commenced with lighting of lamps by the eminent guests followed by a welcome dance by a student.
