PNB Regional Manager on maiden visit to Raipur

REGIONAL Manager of Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bhopal Region Vishesh Kumar Shrivastav was on a maiden visit to Raipur from November 21. Circle Head of PNB Raipur Circle Rajiv Khera welcomed the Regional Manager.


As scheduled, the Regional Manager Vishesh Kumar Shrivastav was a part of the meeting attended by bank branch heads, officials of circle office and customers. Later special initiatives and several programmes were also organised. The daylong programme commenced with presentation of ‘Atta Chakki’ at the hands of the Regional Manager to the Sanjeevani Oldage Home based at Kota and run by charitable organization Badhte Kadam. While addressing the old age home inmates, the Regional Manager said that PNB is always committed for ensuring services to the senior citizens.
This gift is a part of the series of special initiatives taken by the bank, he added. Circle Head Rajiv Khera along with the senior officials were present on the occasion.


Later, a mega loan distribution camp was organised at Hotel Solitaire, Jaistambh Chowk, Raipur. A total of Rs 51.02 crore retail, MSME and agri loans were distributed by the Regional Manager to 612 beneficiaries. Later during the staff member’s meeting, the Regional Manager informed that the bank’s main focus is on realization of NPA and sanctioning of new loans. He said that the besides recovery from NPA accounts should be further speeded-up, at the same time new loans must be sanctioned and advised to also focus on increasing the profit of the bank.


Circle Head Rajiv Khera said that PNB is making significant contribution in the ongoing development process of the state. Looking at the immense opportunities for further development across the state, the PNB is committed to extending its services to the common man by opening bank branches across the state, the Circle Head stated.
