Contractual employees’ delegation meets Chief Minister Chouhan

A delegation of Madhya Pradesh Samvida Karmchari Adhikari Mahasangh led by State President Ramesh Rathore called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding demands at CM house on Wednesday.

Mahasangh State President Rathore informed Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that the contractual employees have been working for last 15-20 years and their contribution is not less than the contribution of regular employees. Rathore said that, the contractual employees working in different departments are being exploited financially, mentally in the name of extending contract period every year. He said a draft was prepared by General Administration Department to regularised the contractual employees in the year 2013 and if the council of ministers approves it then the working contractual employees will be regularised soon.

Mahasangh State President Ramesh Rathore also said that there will be no financial burden on government because a large number of posts are lying vacant in all departments and the contractual employees will be merged on that posts. It was also informed to the Chief Minister that accountants, counsellors, tellers, data entry operators, instructors, managers, panchayat secretaries, co-ordinators, computer operators and engineers, ECCI co-ordinators working on contractual basis have been removed from different departments. Ramesh Rathore also informed to CM Chouhan that Supreme Court has given order for equal pay for equal work hence the contractual employees working in the state should be reinstated and should be given equal salary.
