Staff Reporter,

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) Supremo Mayawati has expressed apprehension that this time, Lok Sabha elections may be held before time and hence BSP workers should start preparations for strengthening the party from now onwards. Mincing no words in criticising BJP and Congress, Mayawati urged BSP workers to wash off the myth that BSP is party only of deprived sections by going for inclusive politics in society and not to fall prey to temptation of both major parties of country.

Addressing a mammoth rally at Lal Parade ground of Bhopal, Mayawati told that often anti-BSP parties accuse her of having fondness towards money but in truth, she is dedicated for the party cause. She claimed if she had any kind of fondness towards money then she would not have stepped down as CM when BSP came to power for third time in UP and had not sent the ground level party workers to Rajya Sabha. Accusing BJP and Congress of getting united in clandestine manner to prevent BSP from spreading out in country and to ensure defeat of BSP candidates in UP, she said a deep conspiracy was hatched in UP’s Sabbirpur village against her by plotting an incident. But she sensed the conspiracy and talked about all and thus disappointing BJP.

Telling that she resigned from Rajya Sabha seat as she was not allowed to speak on the floor of the house by representatives of other parties, she told that such an impression is being created that BSP is only for dalits, but it was BSP which fought a long battle to get implemented Mandal Commission for backward class  during the time of V P Singh government in country. BSP also gave support to VP Singh government, when VP Singh agreed to confer Bharat Ratna award to Dr B R Ambedkar. She claimed that current time is far ahead than emergency as ruling party is talking about Opposition less India and CBI, I-T Department, ED etc are being misused in this regard.

People are deeply hurt by centre’s decision of demonetisation and GST and with passage of time, India’s economy is becoming feeble. In these circumstances, BJP may make Hinduism as an issue. She also said BSP is fighting over EVM issue and got partial relief from Supreme Court. She told BSP has good chances to emerge as third force in MP and Chhattisgarh as BJP’s claims have proved hollow. BSP workers presented gold crown and silver sword to her in the function.
