State Govt staffers to get 4 per cent DA

Chhattisgarh Government employees will now receive dearness allowance at four per cent of their basic pay. This hike in dearness allowance will be effective from January 1, 2017. In this regard, Finance Department, Government of Chhattisgarh has on Friday issued an order for revised pay scale on dearness allowance under Chhattisgarh Revised Scale of Pay Rules-2017. In the order, it was also mentioned that the government employees would get dearness allowance at two per cent of their basic pay from July 1, 2016. In the order, it was said that the amount of the hiked dearness allowance would be paid in cash.

SRAS welcomes Govt decision

Sanchalayin (Vibhagadhyaksh Bhavan) Rajpatrit Adhikari Sangh (SRAS) Naya Raipur President Kamal Verma and Sanyukta Karmachari Sangh (SKS) Naya Raipur President Devlal Bharti welcomed the State Government’s announcement to hike dearness allowance (DA) at four per cent of their basic pay, which would be effective from January 1, 2017.

Office-bearers of the SRAS and the SKS expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh for this announcement. Kamal Verma and Devlal Bharti said that both unions had raised the issue and the Government fulfilled their demand. Around 2.75 lakh State Govt employees would get benefit of it. Dr Ajay Kumar Pathak, Amod Shrivastava, Bholaram, J P Mishra, Anil Malekar, D K Singh, Kishor Verma, Avinash Tiwari, Vidya Dubey, Neha Shukla, Ghanshyam Sinha, Satyendra Dewangan and other office-bearers also welcomed the announcement of Government.
