CM gifts devpt works worth Rs 625 crore to Sagar

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached Banda of Sagar district under the Vikas Yatra on Saturday. He dedicated and laid foundation of development works costing Rs 625 crore for Sagar district during Antodaya Mela. Chouhan made an announcement for opening of ITI in Shahgarh. Moreover, he distributed benefits worth Rs 104.65 crore of various schemes to the beneficiaries.

CM Chouhan said that enquiry will be conducted in case of irregularities found in distribution of amount under the crop insurance scheme. He further mentioned that 50 per cent reservation in teachers’ recruitment and 35 per cent reservation in police recruitment will be given to the women. Capital punishment law will be enacted to punish criminals involved in rape cases. Moreover, statues of Rani Avanti Bai and Maharana Pratap will be installed in the Higher Secondary school of Banda. Approval will be given to Laach River Project after the survey. Chouhan distributed sanction letters of Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Srajan Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana and Gou-Palan Puraskar Yojana on the occasion.

MLA Harvansh Singh Rathore apprised Chief Minister Chouhan with the local problems. Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Gopal Bhargava, Minister for Home and Transport Bhupendra Singh, Minister for Finance Jayant Mallayya, Members of Parliament Laxminarayan Yadav, Prahalad Patel, MLAs Pradeep Lariya, Mahesh Rai, Parul Sahu, Mayor Abhay Dare and other public representatives were present.
