Cold winds set in for next 24 hours in isolated areas

With 27.6 degrees Celsius recorded on Saturday normal temperature dipped below three degree Celsius. Minimum temperature recorded was 9.6 (-3) in Bhopal.

As per weather department cold wave is likely to persist at isolated places over Rewa, Shahdol. Gwalior , Jabalpur , Sagar and Ujjain divisions in next twenty four hours .Minimum temperature was recorded lowest at Gwalior , Mandla, Umaria at 6 degree Celsius .Chances of mist will be there during morning hours .Average wind speed recorded was around 10kmph.Minimum temperature fluctuations was not witnessed at Chambal ,Tikamgarh, Rewa and Satna divisions in next forty eight hours . Majority of the areas witnessed clear and dry weather.

Meanwhile, temperatures among the four main cities- Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur ranged between 28.6 and 6.3 degrees Celsius. Indore recorded a minimum of 11.8(-1) degrees Celsius and maximum at 28.6degrees Celsius. Minimum temperature at Gwalior was recorded at 6.3 (-4) degrees Celsius while maximum remained at 28 (+3) degrees Celsius.

In Jabalpur, minimum and maximum temperatures were respectively recorded at 9.7(-3) and 27.3 (-1) degrees Celsius.Khajuraho was recorded at 8.2 degree Celsius (-4) and maximum at 28.6degree Celsius. In next twenty four hours weather in city is likely to remain dry and no major fluctuations are expected. However warning of cold wave has been issued in isolated regions at Rewa, Shahdol, Gwalior and Jablpur.
