Body of man found in farm

Sensation prevailed in Madhotal area when the body of an unidentified man was found at a farm behind Arihant Warehouse in village Raigavan, on Sunday morning.
Later, the deceased was identified as Dr Shakeel Ansari (48), a resident of near Nagina Masjid in Gohalpur area and medical practitioner at his clinic situated in Raza Chowk.


Madhotal police informed that some farmers of village Raigavan witnessed the body of an unidentified man at a farm. Receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and found the body of an unidentified man. In prima facie of the investigation, police expected that the man was killed at other place and the body was dragged and abandoned at a farm to hide evidence by unidentified person. Police have found blood marks on his clothes and face and also found mark of a rope on his throat.


Learning about the incident, senior police officers along with FSL team reached the spot and started forensic investigation into the case. Police collected evidences at the spot of finding the body and sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital. Madhotal police have registered a case under sections 302 and 201 of the IPC, while further investigations are underway to identify and apprehend the accused.
