‘State Govt’s schemes not reaching beneficiaries’

The State Government frequently makes announcement on hundreds of ambitious schemes for the benefit of people belonging to economically weaker sections of society. But the actual beneficiaries are being forced to run from pillar to post to avail the benefits of the welfare schemes floated by the State Government, said former MLA Lakhan Ghanghoria while talking to large number of people during his Jan-Chetna Yatra.
According to information, former MLA Lakhan Ghanghoria, while talking to large number of people during his Jan-Chetna Yatra, lambasted the State Government for making fake announcement pertaining to various welfare schemes. He said, claims made by the BJP Government of initiating optimal efforts for the welfare of needy people has proved superficial. Needy are deprived from procuring neither sugar nor kerosene oil at fair price ration shops. Besides, the redressal camp started by MPSEB against faulty electricity bill is an act of deception with general public.

About the Jan-Chetna Yatra being taken out by the Congress leader, it is informed that, on Monday, the yatra began from Raza Chowk of New Sanjay Gandhi ward, passed through New Anand Nagar, Dr Aslam, Mecca nagar, Azad nagar, Sammiti nagar at street number 5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 falling under Jabalpur East Assembly segment.

Among fellow Congress leaders who accompanied the Congress leader were Corporator Raju Laike, Azam Ali Khan, Tahir Ali, Kalim Khan, Tahir Khokar, Ishtiyaq Ansari and others.
