Staff Reporter,

Once again, ‘Vaastu Dosh’ of Madhya Pradesh Assembly building came into focus when senior Congress MLA and ex-minister K P Singh tried to pinpoint towards the same while paying tributes to departed souls of MLAs, ex-MLAs and union ministers in the house on Monday.

Singh, while remembering his close association with Mahendra Singh Kalukheda and Ram Singh Yadav, said that in just four years, nine MLAs have passed away. He said that various kinds of talks are in vogue regarding Assembly structure and requested Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr Narottam Mishra to see what kind of ‘Vaastu Dosh’ is there. Earlier, he told that many of us believe on such things which are above science. Hence, he requested that spiritual study should be done and ‘Karma Kanda’ mentioned in ‘purans’ should be done. When contacted, Minister of State,Sanjay Pathak told ‘The Hitavada’ that if there is any ‘Vaastu Dosh’ in Assembly building then it should be corrected and he is in favour of redressal of problem. It is not a small thing that as many as nine MLAs died in four years and problems are being reported ever since the assembly structure came to fore.

Going retrospective, Sanjay Pathak told that India is known for its great knowledge of science, Vaastu Shastra and medicines. In old times, forts, temples and even bridges were constructed according to ‘Vaastu Shastra’ and many such structures exist even today. Hence he is in favour of correction of ‘Vaastu Dosh’ if Assembly has any. Earlier also, some MLAs had raised the issue pertaining to ‘Vaastu Dosh’ of Assembly building and at that time Assembly Speaker Dr Sitasharan Sharma had told that though personally he does not believe on such kind of things but as the matter has been brought to his knowledge hence he would try to do consultation with some Vaastu expert.
