Gangrape case reverberates in Assembly

The sensational gangrape case of Bhopal echoed in Madhya Pradesh Assembly during zero hour on Tuesday. Senior Congress MLA and ex-minister Ram Niwas Rawat raised the issue and wanted to know that whether his adjournment motion seeking debate on gangrape would be accepted or not?
He said after one Nirbhaya incident of New Delhi, entire country was shocked and in Madhya Pradesh, such sorts of incidents are happening one after another. Speaker said that he would ponder over the adjournment motion given to him.
Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh interrupted in middle and said gang rape incident is a serious matter. After this, Rawat accused Government of shying away from discussion on the subject.

MLA Shankuntala told that in the reign of ‘Mama’, nieces are not secured and law & order situation has reached to abysmal level. Tarun Bhanot also expressed his view over the issue.
In between Ajay Singh said on Monday Dr Narottam Mishra said to mediapersons outside the House that Government was ready for discussion on any subject and inside the House.

Later, MLA Rajnesh Singh demanded to declare Sidhi as drought-affected region. Likewise, MLA Hardeep Singh Dang demanded that tehsils of Mandsaur should be declared as drought-hit. Pratap Singh wanted to know what Government is doing in drought-affected areas?
