Social media campaign to promote gender equality launched

Social media campaign is being launched by Sarokar organization which work for women empowerment in city.Kumud Singh convener of the organisation said that group organized Gendr equality events as a part of the campaign .
Various discussions on the subject was also organized at Hindi Bhavan .

During the occasion prices for Poetry and photography is also distributed. As a chief guest Dr. Suresh Tomar (Joint Director) Mahila Bal Vikas, Famous Theater Artist and Film Maker Mukesh Sharma and educator Pushpendra pal Singh was there. During the occasion Kinnar Kalya samiti convener Devi Rani was also present there. At the end of the event two major Social Media Campaign under 16 Days Activism is launched “Mai Bhai se karungi baat” and “Tum se hai wada mera”, with this Campaign raised voice against female violence. Event was inaugurated by Sarokar President V.P.

Singh, by briefing about  the Sarokar. Jury Member of Poetry competition Mukesh Sharma said, stop writing negative against daughters, instant start writing positive and be an inspiration. Dr Suresh Tomar informed about gender equality to the mass, during the occasion he discussed about ending of the patriarchy thinking and he also said the day a contribution in property will be started giving to daughters, the violence will be much lesser against females.During the occasion Devi rani was honored by Shawl and SriFal, and spread the message to give equality for third gender as well.. During the event other members like Jayant Iain, Sammer Khan and Sahanaj are also honored for working for female rights. Winner of the competition for poetry includes  Ankit Pandy ,Mahesh Soni, Shivendra Kumar Mishra, Photography competition winners includes    Mukteshi Patel Isha Arushi, Ankit Tripathi etc.
