Archer Muskan Kirar to represent India at Asian Championship

Madhya Pradesh Academy archer Muskan Kirar is going to represent Indian team at Asian Archery Championship. Bangladesh’ s capital Dhaka is going to host 29th Asian Archery Championship from November 24 to December 1. In the selection trials, three archers from Madhya Pradesh participated and Muskan was the only one who got selected for her brilliant performance. Notably, archer is getting training from Coach of Madhya Pradesh Archery Academy Richhpal Singh Silaria. After giving tough competitions to archers across the State, Muskan was selected from Madhya Pradesh to be a part of team India. On selection of Muskan, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Yashodhara Raje Scindia expressed her pleasure over the selection at Asian Championship. She congratulated her for achievement and wished luck for future.

Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Department Upendra Jain also congratulated the archer and asked her to play well in the championship. Muskan Kirar has also represented India at international championship in Chinese Taipei which was organised in the month of July this year. Shivansh Awasthi, Muskan Kirar and Amit Yadav participated in the competition. Earlier, Muskan also clinched sub-junior title in national championship held at Bhubaneshwar and also brought laurels in many archery events in the past.
