345 applications received under Disabled Empowerment Drive

Total 345 applications received under Disabled Empowerment Drive, which was organised by Bhilai Municipal Corporation to facilitate the disabled persons with tricycle, baishaki, wheel chair, boots, artificial legs-hands and other conveniences under various government schemes.
As per the directives issued by BMC Commissioner, KL Chauhan, the second phase of Disabled Empowerment Drive was conducted on Tuesday and Wednesday at all the zonal offices.


A large number of disabled persons participated in this Disabled Empowerment Drive and submitted applications regarding various demands like issuing tricycle, baishaki, wheel chair, boots, artificial legs-hands, procuring or renewing health card, disabled ration card, smart card, identity card, passport and conveniences. Several officials and employees from Bhilai Municipal Corporation including all the Zonal Commissioners, Assistant Revenue Officer, Health Volunteers and other were present on the occasion.
