Glittering function held to mark 12-yrs tenure of CM

A glittering function was held at Motilal Nehru Stadium of State capital to mark the completion of 12 years tenure of Shivraj Singh Chouhan as Chief Minister of State on Wednesday evening.
Haryana Governor Professor Kaptan Singh Solanki felicitated Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan with Subhash Chandra Bose Leadership Award.


The programme, which was organised under the aegis of Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC), was presided over by Union Minister for Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar.
In this programme, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan also did conversation with youths.


CM announced to provide benefit of ‘Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi’ Scholarship to those students who name comes till merit list of 1.5 lakh of entrance exam of JEE Mains. He told that selected student’s engineering fees will be paid by the Government. Next year, career counselling cell’s will be constituted at High School and Higher Secondary level. Shortly, students panchayat will be held. The expenditure of treatment of student getting injured in accident will be borne either by education institution or through CM’s discretionary fund. If student dies then government will take care of his family.


To ensure better placement, arrangement would be made that Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya and State Government should invite foreign as well as indigenous companies.


For self-employment and skill development, Youth Empowerment Mission will be formed. Tie up will be done with good institutions to increase opportunities of internship. IT Parks are being started and shortly employment opportunities will be created.


Highlighting various achievements of his Government in twelve years, he told that he had run a Government working for common people. A long distance has been covered. Still, lot of efforts are to be made to make state as best state of country and world.
On this occasion, Mayor Alok Sharma, former CM Babulal Gaur, Panchayat Minister Gopal Bhargava, minister Umashankar Gupta, MP Alok Sanjar, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Vishnu Khatri and MLA Surendra Nath Singh were also present.
