30 Government colleges of C’garh to have satellite classrooms soon

Department of Higher Education (DHE), Chhattisgarh, is all set to initiate satellite based virtual classrooms at 30 government colleges of the state from January, 2018. The students of these colleges will have an opportunity to get guidance of national and international level experts. State Higher Education Minister Prem Prakash Pandey said that these colleges will have two satellite classes and duration of each class will be one hour. Funds to the tune of Rs 2.10 crore will be spent on the satellite classroom projects. It will be a boon for the students, said the minister.

The colleges selected under Satellite Classroom project are Durg’s Government Vishwanath Yadav Tamaskar PG College, Rajnandgaon’s Government Rani Avanti Bai College Dhumka and Government Lal Shyam Shah College Manpur, Kawardha’s Gajanand Madhav Muktibodh College Sahaspur Lohara and Government Swami Vivekananda College Bolda, Raigarh’s Sant Gahiraguru Rameshwar College Lailunga.

Similarly, Raipur’s Dr Radhabai Navin Girls PG College, Mahasamund’s Raja Virendra Singh College, Dhamtari’s Sukhram Nage College, Sukma’s Shaheed Bapu Rao PG College and Navin College, Surajpur district’s Revtiraman Mishra PG College, Gariaabandh’s Govt Navin College, Balod’s Govt Navin College, Kanker’s Veer Gendsingh College and Lal Kalind Singh College, Bastar’s Government College Bankawad and Government Navin College Tokapal, Kondagaon’s Navin College Farasgaon and Narayanpur’s Swami Atmanand PG College.

Dantewada district’s Danteswari PG College, Bilaspur’s Marwahi Government College, Jashpur Nagar’s Bagicha Government College and Navin College Ara, Balrampur’s Sanawal Navin College and Ramchandpur Government College, Koriya’s Government Navin College, Baloda Bazaar’s Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh College Bilaigarh, Bemetara district’s Government College and Mungeli district’s Avanti Bai Lodhi Mahavidyalaya will have satellite classroom facility.
