475 cows examined during grand Gau Chikitsa Shivir

As many as 475 cows were examined during a grand Gau Chikitsa Shivir organised under the joint auspices of Medical Cell of Bharatiya Janata Party and Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University at village Noni Tipra in Shahpura tehsil on Monday. Known Veterinary doctors rendered their services during the camp.


Speaking on the occasion, State Coordinator of Medical Cell, Dr Lakshya Bhardwaj said we all worship Cow. It gives us various essential things, which are required in our day-to-day life. Hence it is very necessary to protect Cow. He said it is misfortune that people are rearing Dogs and Cows are roaming unattended on roads.


Hailing the efforts of BJP's Medical Cell, Dr Bhardwaj said such camps would also be organised in other districts of the State. He further said that the Ghee prepared from Cow milk fulfills needed requirement of nutrition to the body. Likewise, Cow's urine is a good germicide hence the developed country like America has patented Cow's urine and using it in Cancer treatment. Cow's dung also provides best protection from radioactive rays.


Expressing views on the occasion, Dr Prayag Datt Joyal, Vice Chancellor, Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University said the University is also making extensive efforts for protection of Cows. He said an exhibition on things received from Cow was also organised on the occasion.

Dr Joyal said Madhya Pradesh is the third largest milk producer State in the country. He said MP produces nearly 14 billion ton milk. He stressed the need of Dairy Science College in the State.

City Coordinator of Medical Cell, Dr Ashvini Trivedi informed that Veterinary doctors did medical examination and Sonography of Cows and also provided free of cost medicines for ailing cattle. Besides, cattle owners were also given suggestions for better protection of Cow.


MLA, Pratibha Singh, BJP City President, G S Thakur, Rural President, Shiv Patel, Dr Ashish Dengra and Dr Ramesh Pratap Singh Baghel also addressed the camp.
Amongst those also present on the occasion were BJP's City Vice President, Jai Sachdeva, Sandip Patel, Sukhram Patel, Ravindra Pachori, Dr Shubham Awasthi, Dr Vivek Jain, Pradip Tiwari, Dr Abhinav Shrivastava, Dr Vibhor Hajari, Dr Deepak Prajapati, Dr Ashima Trivedi, Dr Vimal Keshari, Anjani Trivedi, Shrikant Sahu and others.
