Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu to inaugurate Agrovision’s 9th edition on 10th

The everything related to agricultural under one roof, Agrovision will open its gates for people on November 10 at Rashimbag ground. Vice-President of India Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the exhibition on November 10 at 4 pm in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Minister for Roadways, Road Transport and Shipping and Chief Patron of Agrovision Nitin Gadkari.

The other guests on the occasion will be Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir, Maharashtra Agricultural Minister Pandurang Fundkar, Maharashtra Finance, Planning and Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Maharashtra Energy and Guardian Minister of Nagpur District Chandrashekar Bawankule, Mayor Nanda Jichkar; Zilla Parishad President Nisha Sawarkar; Chairman and Managing Director of UPL Rajubhai Shroff, Chairman Dhanuka Group R G Agrawal and Joint Managing Director of Jain Irrigation Atul Jain.

This was informed by Convenor of Agrovision Girish Gandhi while talking to media on Tuesday said. Organising Secretary Ravi Boratkar said, all arrangements are at the final stage. The exhibition will be spread over 10,000 square meters area with 7 hangers, 3,000 square meters open to sky stalls for big equipments, 4 big domes for workshops.

President Advisory Committee Agrovision Dr C D Mayee, said, “Agrovision has created its unique identity with its agricultural related workshops. Last year 60,000 farmers participated in 24 workshops conducted in 3 days.”

The inauguration of the workshops will be held on November 11 at 10.30 am at Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha. The programme will be presided over by Nitin Gadkari, Union MSME Minister Giriraj Singh, Maharashtra Minister for Animal, Dairy and Fisheries Development Mahadeo Jankar and Co-operative, Marketing and Textile Minister Subhash Deshmukh will be the chief guests. A full-day workshop on dairy development will be held at Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha on November 12 from 9.30 am. Chairman National Dairy Development Board Dr Dilip Rath and Chandrashekar Bawankule will be the chief guests. “The workshops will be focusing on diversifaction of agri products, supporting business and value chain development,” said Dr Mayee.

Organising Secretary Ramesh Mankar said, “Under the guidance and leadership of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, our chief patron. Agrovision is getting bigger and bigger in its every edition.”

He said, more than 400 companies are participating in the exhibition. All agriculture related products, equipments and information will be available to people under one roof.

“Mahendra tractors will be showcasing man-less tractor in the exhibition. Live cattle and poultry pavilion will be additional attraction,” he said. “This year too, we are expecting overwhelming response,” he said. Also present were Datta Jamdar, Satish Hole, Usha Pallot, both corporators, Shrikant Shivankar, Praveen Game, Nitin Boratkar and others.
